QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Basic Salary Scale: Ksh.58,360.00 - 90,200.00 (CPSB 06) House Allowance: Ksh. 25,500.00 pmCommuter Allowance: Ksh. 8,000.00 pmOther Allowances as Per the SRC CircularsTerms of Service: Permanent and PensionableRequirements for Appointment:-Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related discipline from a recognized institution.A Master’s degree in Education or a relevant field will be an added advantage.Have at least seven (7) years of experience in education quality assurance or curriculum supervision, three (3) of which at a senior level.Demonstrate understanding of quality assurance frameworks and standards in education.Excellent analytical and evaluation skills for monitoring education programs.Strong interpersonal, communication, and report writing skills.Proficient in the use of ICT tools for data collection and reporting.Duties and Responsibilities:-Oversee the implementation of quality assurance frameworks for ECDE programs in the countySupervise and guide Quality Assurance Officers in monitoring ECDE service deliveryConduct regular assessments and evaluations of ECDE centers to ensure compliance with set standardsCoordinate county-level inspection and supervision of teaching and learning activities in ECDE institutionsDevelop and implement strategies to improve the quality of ECDE teaching, infrastructure, and child outcomesEnsure adherence to national and county education policies, guidelines, and regulationsOrganize and lead capacity-building programs for ECDE teachers and caregiversProvide professional support and mentorship to ECDE staff and center managersAnalyze data and generate reports on the quality of ECDE services for decision-makingCollaborate with stakeholders to promote inclusive, safe, and child-friendly ECDE environmentsAdvise county education leadership on policy matters and areas for improvement in ECDE deliveryCoordinate licensing, registration, and quality audits of ECDE centers in the countyMonitor the use of teaching and learning resources to ensure optimal utilizationPromote child protection, safety, and well-being in all ECDE centersRepresent the county in intergovernmental or multi-agency ECDE quality forums and initiativesPlan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set targets
