QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Basic Salary Scale: Ksh.58,360.00 - 90,200.00 (CPSB 06) House Allowance: Ksh. 25,500.00 pmCommuter Allowance: Ksh. 8,000.00 pmOther Allowances as Per the SRC CircularsTerms of Service: Permanent and PensionableRequirements for Appointment-;Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related disciplinePostgraduate training in Communication, Media Relations, or Public Relations is an added advantage.Minimum of six (6) years’ experience in communication or public relations, three (3) of which must be in a supervisory role.Proficiency in media monitoring and digital communication tools.Membership in a recognized professional body and compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement the County Public Service Board’s communication strategy.Prepare and disseminate press releases, newsletters, and official statements.Coordinate media relations and manage public inquiries.Monitor media coverage and prepare analysis reports.Manage the board’s social media platforms and website content.Organize events and stakeholder engagement forums.Provide communication advisory to senior management.Maintain an updated media database for networking and outreach.Supervise and mentor communication staff.
