QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 124,630.00 - 172,350.00 (CPSB 03)House Allowance: Ksh. 35,000.00 p.m Commuter Allowance: KSh. 16,000.00 p.m.Other Allowances as Per the SRC CircularsTerms of Service: Permanent and PensionableRequirements for Appointment-;Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, or a related field.Master’s degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.Certificate in senior management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution.At least ten (10) years of relevant experience, three (3) of which must be at a senior management level.Membership in a relevant professional body and compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution (Integrity, Leadership, and Ethics).Proficiency in ICT with strong analytical and communication skills.Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee formulation and implementation of licensing and compliance policies, standards, and frameworks.Develop strategies to ensure compliance with county licensing laws and business regulations.Coordinate inspection and monitoring of licensed businesses to enforce compliance.Advise the county government on legal and regulatory issues related to licensing.Oversee preparation of periodic compliance and enforcement reports.Coordinate capacity building and awareness programs for stakeholders.Manage licensing databases and ensure automation of systems for efficiency.Liaise with national and county agencies on harmonization of licensing requirements.Supervise and mentor departmental staff for effective service delivery.
