QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 102,860.00 - 137,070.00 (CPSB 04)House Allowance: Ksh.28,000.00 p.m Commuter Allowance: KSh. 14,000.00 p.m.Other Allowances as Per the SRC CircularsTerms of Service: Permanent and PensionableRequirements for Appointment:- Bachelor’s Degree Physical Education, Sports Science, Leisure and Recreation Management Or a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences plus a Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Administration and Management Master’s Degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage;Knowledge and work experience of not less than ten (10) years, Three (3) of which must have been at Senior Management level in the Public Service or Private Sector.Certificate in senior management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution.Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance resultsDuties and Responsibilities:-Coordination of sports program design, monitoring, evaluation, and implementationMobilizing resources through liaising with relevant stakeholdersConducting research and encouraging innovation in sportsPreparing annual work plans, budgeting, and procurement planningAdministering cash awards and honour schemes for athletesMainstreaming sports at local, national, and international levelsPartnering with federations, clubs, and other organizations to develop infrastructure and promote sports standardsManaging equipment, disciplinary matters, talent recommendation, seminars and staffing
