QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 105,570.00 -139,790.00 (CPSB 04)House Allowance: Ksh. 28,000.00 p.m Commuter Allowance: KSh. 14,000.00 p.m.Other Allowances as Per the SRC CircularsTerms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable Requirements for Appointment-:Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: - Security Management, Criminology and Fraud Management, Criminology and Security Studies, Criminal Justice; Police Science, Military Science, Forensic Investigations and Penology or its equivalent from a recognized institution or alternatively;Master’s Degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage;Knowledge and work experience of not less than Seven (7) years, three (3) of which must have been at Senior Management level in the Public Service or Private Sector.The applicant must have served at the level of inspector and above at the Kenya Police, Kenya Defense Forces or Kenya Wildlife Services with over 7 years’ experience in serviceDuties and Responsibilities -:Coordinate the implementation of policies, guidelines and plans and strategies on enforcement;Enforce County laws and other relevant Acts;Follow up the approval of enforcement staff uniforms and other necessary tools and equipment;Ensure discipline is maintained by enforcement officers under him/her;Give evidence in court on behalf of the County Government;Coordinate training and development of enforcement officers;Coordinate enforcement budget preparation and implementation;Coordinate performance management and preparation of annual work plans for the Directorate;Liaise with other law enforcement agencies on matters pertaining to security in the county;Make recommendations on intelligence reports;Conduct internal investigations, preparing investigation reports and liaising with external investigation agencies (where applicable);Provide leadership for effective operations and management of enforcement Directorate; andPlan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set targets.
