QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 105,570.00 -139,790.00 (CPSB 04)House Allowance: Ksh. 28,000.00 p.m Commuter Allowance: KSh. 14,000.00 p.m.Other Allowances as Per the SRC CircularsTerms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable Requirements for Appointment-::-Bachelor's Degree in social sciences, Education, Communication or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;Knowledge and work experience of not less than Seven (7) years, three (3) of which must have been at Senior Management level in the Public Service or Private Sector;Master’s Degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage;Experience in public sector/County Government operations;Creative and innovative, technical problem solving, transformative,good communication analytical resource management skills;In-depth understanding of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010 and the relevant legislations.Duties and Responsibilities -:Plan and coordinate civic education programmes in conjunction with the devolved units.Manage, execute and control the civic education activities: Prepare civic education work plans for approval by the Chief Officer responsible for public administration.Develop and implement an annual civic education strategy for the county;Provide detailed reports on civic education activities;Manage all matters pertaining to Public Education and Advocacy;Enhance cohesion among different communities; andEducate the citizens on their rights and responsibilities as stipulated in the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
