QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 105,570.00-139,790.00 (CPSB 04)House Allowance: Ksh. 28,000 pmCommuter Allowance: Ksh. 14,000 pmOther Allowances as Per the SRC CircularsTerms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable Requirements for Appointment-:: -Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Law ,Governance/Management or a related field from a university recognized in Kenya;Possession of a Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage;Knowledge and work experience of not less than Seven (7) years, three (3) of which must have been at Senior Management level in the Public Service or Private Sector.Demonstrate thorough understanding of County development objectives and vision 2030;Good interpersonal and communication skills;Demonstrate understanding and commitment to the National Values and Principles of Government and Public Service; and Be conversant with Government policies and regulations, and devolution laws; andHave ability to work in a multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity;Duties and Responsibilities -:Assist in Planning and organizing Cabinet meetings, preparing agendas, and ensuring effective follow-up on decisions.Coordinate and monitor the implementation of Cabinet resolutions and policies.Act as the primary link between the County Secretary, Cabinet members, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and operations.Provide advice and technical support to the County Secretary on Cabinet matters, including legislative processes and governance issues.Oversee the preparation, storage, and retrieval of Cabinet papers and records to maintain confidentiality and accessibility.Support the County Secretary in strategic initiatives related to governance, Plan, and administration.Plan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set targets.
