QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 50,610.00 - 67,110.00 (CPSB 06)House Allowance: Ksh. 22,000.00 p.mCommuter Allowance: KSh. 8,000.00 p.m.Other Allowances as Per the SRC CircularsTerms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable Requirements for Appointment-;Diploma in any of the following fields: Agriculture, food Technology, Agriculture and home Economics, Agricultural Education, Horticulture or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized qualification.Demonstrated a high degree of professional and technical competence as reflected in work performance and results.Duties and Responsibilities -:Coordinate the implementation of crop production programs at sub-county and ward levels.Provide technical backstopping to agricultural field staff and extension officers.Promote sustainable agricultural practices, agribusiness, and value addition.Oversee farmer education, training, and field demonstrations.Monitor and evaluate performance of agricultural programs and prepare relevant reports.Collect, analyze, and disseminate agricultural data and market information.Support the development and dissemination of agricultural technologies and innovations.Collaborate with NGOs, private sector, and development partners in promoting agricultural development.Plan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set targets.
