QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 90,200.00 - 124,630.00 (CPSB 05)House Allowance: Ksh. 28,000.00 p.m Commuter Allowance: KSh. 12,000.00 p.m.Other Allowances as Per the SRC CircularsTerms of Service: Permanent and PensionableRequirements for Appointment-; Hold a Bachelor's degree in Water Engineering, Civil Engineering, Hydrology, or a related field from a recognized institution.A master's degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage.Have at least six (6) years of relevant professional experience, with at least three (3) years in a managerial or supervisory role.Membership to a relevant Professional body.Possess strong project management, analytical, and communication skills.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide technical leadership in the planning and execution of water supply and sanitation projects.Coordinate the preparation of proposals and budgets for water development initiatives.Supervise implementation of rural and urban water projects.Ensure compliance with national and county water policies, laws, and regulations.Provide input into the development of strategic plans and water sector frameworks.Conduct technical appraisals of proposed water programs and infrastructure designs.Monitor and evaluate ongoing water projects to ensure quality and timely delivery.Supervise, mentor, and build capacity of technical staff under the water development division.Prepare regular reports on water development progress and performance.Represent the department in stakeholder forums and inter-agency technical committees.Plan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set targets.
