QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 90,200.00 - 124,630.00 (CPSB 05)House Allowance: Ksh. 28,000.00 p.m Commuter Allowance: KSh. 12,000.00 p.m.Other Allowances as Per the SRC CircularsTerms of Service: Permanent and PensionableRequirements for Appointment-;: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agronomy, Agribusiness, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, Soil Water and Environmental Engineering, Environmental and Biosystems Engineering.Have at least six (6) years of relevant professional experience, with at least three (3) years in a managerial or supervisory role.Membership to a relevant Professional body.Duties and Responsibilities:-Coordinate issuance of irrigation licensesEstablish and maintain a register of all irrigation schemesMaintain a master register of all associations registered under irrigation regulations, updated annuallyPrepare and maintain an inventory of irrigation service providers and professionalsDevelop and manage databases on standards, quality assurance, and licensesImplement reforms related to standards, quality assurance, and licensingCoordinate the enlisting of foreign-qualified professionals, firms, or contractorsMobilize resources for implementation of licensing-related projects and programsPlan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set targets.
