QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 90,200.00 124,630.00 (CPSB 04)House Allowance: Ksh.28, 000Commuter Allowance: Ksh.12, 000 p.m.Other Allowances as Per the SRC CircularsTerms of Service: Permanent and PensionableRequirements for Appointment-;Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field.Professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CIA, ACCA) or postgraduate degree in auditing or compliance is an advantage.Minimum six (6) years of experience in audit, compliance or risk, with at least three (3) in supervisory roles.Strong understanding of internal controls, risk frameworks, and compliance regulations.Excellent analytical, reporting, and ethical standards in line with Chapter Six.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport risk assessment and management across city departments.Coordinate internal audit programs and compliance reviews.Review and strengthen internal control systems.Report on financial and operational risks and make actionable recommendations.Ensure adherence to regulatory and governance standards.Provide guidance on risk mitigation and compliance protocolsFacilitate corrective action for audit findings.Train staff on compliance and risk awareness.Supervise audit and compliance personnel.
