QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 60,080.00 - 96,130.00 (CPSB 06)House Allowance: Ksh. 25,500.00 p.mCommuter Allowance: KSh. 8,000.00 p.m.Other Allowances as Per the SRC CircularsTerms of Service: Three (3) Years Contract (Renewable)Requirements for Appointment: -Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines; Public Administration, Business Administration/Management, Community Development or any other Social SciencesKnowledge and relevant work experience of not less than five (5) years;Demonstrate a thorough understanding of County development objectives; andMust have good interpersonal and communication skills;Duties and Responsibilities: -Oversee effective service delivery in the area of jurisdiction;Develop programs and projects to empower the community Coordinating and facilitating citizen participation in the development of policies, plans and delivery of services;Facilitate inter-governmental relations and conflict resolution;Oversee safe custody of county government assets in the area of jurisdiction;Coordinate and liaising with other directorates and departments in the area of jurisdiction;Ensure compliance with legal, statutory and regulatory requirements;Ensure compliance with national values and principles of good governanceCoordinate citizen participation in governance in the area of jurisdiction;Enhance administrative capacity for effective functions and governance at the local level Identify development projects;Disseminating information to the public Providing linkage between the office and the community.Plan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set targets.
