QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 39,700.00 - 52,960.00 (CPSB 09)
House Allowance: Ksh. 12,800 p.m
Commuter Allowance: Ksh. 5,000 p.m.
Other Allowances as Per the SRC Circulars
Terms of Service: Permanent & Pensionable
Requirements for Appointment-:
Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Monitoring and Evaluation, Policy Analysis and Project Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Possesses strong knowledge of logical frameworks, results-based management, and key performance indicators.
Excellent organizational, coordination, and teamwork abilities.
Duties and responsibilities:-
Develop and implement Monitoring and Evaluation frameworks, tools, and indicators for CPSB activities and strategic plans
Collect, analyze, and report data related to public service recruitment, promotions, training, disciplinary actions, and performance management
Support the preparation of quarterly and annual performance reports for the Board
Track and report on the implementation of recommendations and decisions made by the CPSB
Participate in the review of HR policies and ensure they are aligned with performance management objectives
Assist in conducting impact assessments, audits, surveys, and evaluations of county departments’ compliance with human resource management standards
Maintain an updated M&E database and ensure proper documentation and filing of reports and records
Identify gaps in service delivery and provide recommendations for policy and operational improvements
Liaise with other departments, directorates, and external stakeholders for data verification and information sharing
Promote a results-based management culture in the county public service
Participate in the development of the Board’s strategic and annual work plans
Plan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set targets.
