QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 39,700.00 - 52,960.00(CPSB 09)House Allowance: Ksh. 12,800 p.mCommuter Allowance: Ksh. 5,000 p.m.Other Allowances as Per the SRC CircularsTerms of Service: Permanent & PensionableRequirements for appointmentBachelors of Science degree Agriculture, Agricultural Extension or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; Report writing skills;Possess Proposal development skills; andProficiency in computer application skills.Duties and responsibilities:- Coordinate crop development and food security, Agri-Nutrition, Engineering, Extension, Research and Training, Agribusiness and Projects Monitoring and Evaluation;Coordinate delivery of agricultural extension activities;Collect and package new and existing agricultural technologies for dissemination to crop related value chain actors;Collect and collate agriculture information;Compile and analyze field reports for decision making;Facilitate delivery of farm production and marketing of extension services;Manage information desks within the Sub - County; andPlan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set targets.
