Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 90,200.00 -124,630.00 (CPSB 05)
House Allowance: Ksh. 28,000.00 p.m
Commuter Allowance: KShs. 12,000.00 p.m.
Other Allowances as Per the SRC Circulars

Requirements for Appointment: -
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Community Development, Psychology, or related field.
A master's degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
At least 6 years of relevant experience with 3 years in a senior management position in public or private sector
Proven track record in social policy implementation, programme management, and stakeholder engagement.
Duties and Responsibilities:-
Participate in the formulation, review, and implementation of social services policies, strategies, and guidelines.
Ensure alignment of social development programmes with national development plans and international commitment
Oversee planning, coordination, and evaluation of social welfare and community development programmes.
Supervise the implementation of programmes targeting children, youth, persons with disabilities, older persons, and marginalized groups.
Coordinate research on emerging social issues and prepare reports to inform decision-making.
Maintain and analyze social data for policy formulation and programme improvement.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to social development officers and other staff.
Facilitate training and capacity-building initiatives for stakeholders in the social services sector.
Initiate and strengthen collaborations with government agencies, development partners, NGOs, and community-based organizations.
Mobilize resources for social services programmes and ensure accountability in their utilization
Establish monitoring and evaluation frameworks for social programmes and ensure periodic reporting.
Prepare departmental performance reports for management and stakeholders
Oversee staff performance appraisal and development plans
Manage budgets, work plans, and resources for effective service delivery.
Plan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set target
